Structured Cabling & Data

The Infrastructure Underneath

Cat6 and Cat6a copper, fibre backbone, comms rooms and equipment rooms for commercial premises across London. Installed, tested and certified.

Why It Sits With Us

Everything Runs On The Cable Now

Fire, security and data stopped being separate trades some time ago. IP cameras, networked access controllers, intercoms, monitored panels and building services all sit on structured cabling, and the quality of that cabling decides whether the systems above it behave.

We are pulling and terminating data cable on most jobs anyway, so we deliver it as a discipline in its own right rather than as an afterthought at second fix. That means proper containment, planned routes, correct separation from power, and links that are tested rather than assumed.

For principal contractors and M&E firms it removes a package. One subcontractor covering containment, fire, security and data is one less interface to coordinate, one less set of RAMS to chase, and one less trade to sequence around the ceiling grid.

What We Install

Copper, Fibre & Everything Between

Cat6 & Cat6a Copper

Horizontal cabling from floor patching to outlet, screened or unscreened as the environment requires. Cat6a where PoE loading, ten gigabit or future proofing justifies it, rather than as a default upsell.

Fibre Backbone

Single mode and multimode backbone between floors, buildings and comms rooms. Fusion spliced and terminated, with OTDR and loss testing on completion.

Comms Rooms & Cabinets

Cabinet supply and build, patch panel and cable management layout, power distribution, containment entry, labelling and tidy dressing. A room you can work in at two in the morning.

Containment & Pathways

Basket, tray, trunking and conduit set out properly, with correct segregation from power and fire stopping reinstated where we penetrate a compartment.

Equipment & Data Rooms

Structured cabling for server and equipment rooms, including rack elevations, cross connects and resilient routing where the client needs diversity.

Moves, Adds & Changes

Additional outlets, floor box alterations, repatching and remedial work on cabling installed by others, including tracing and relabelling undocumented systems.

The Deliverable

Tested, Labelled, Documented

A cabling installation is only finished when it is proven. Every copper link is tested to the relevant category and every fibre core is tested for loss, with results issued per link rather than a blanket assurance that it all works.

You get the test results, a labelling schedule that matches the patch panels and the outlets, and as fitted information showing what runs where. When somebody needs to trace a link in two years, the paperwork answers it rather than an engineer with a toner.

Per Link Testing

Certification results for every copper link and fibre core, issued as part of handover.

Consistent Labelling

A scheme applied at both ends and recorded, so the panel, the outlet and the drawing agree.

As Fitted Records

Drawings and schedules that reflect what was actually installed, not what was originally drawn.

Cabling Enquiries

New fit out, refurbishment, comms room rebuild or additional outlets. Send the drawings and we will price it.
