About Us
Two decades delivering fire and security on commercial sites across the South East, trusted by main contractors, and now taking on direct clients across London.
Who We Are
Smart Security Protection started as an installer that other companies called when a job needed doing properly. Much of our work has been delivered as a subcontract package for principal contractors, fit out specialists and M&E firms, on commercial sites where the programme is fixed, the paperwork gets checked and there is nowhere to hide a poor installation.
That is a demanding way to learn a trade, and it shapes how we work. Contractors do not tolerate an installer who turns up late, leaves a mess for the following trades or has to be chased for certificates six weeks after practical completion. The habits that come from working to that standard are the same habits a direct client benefits from, they just rarely get to see where they came from.
We still deliver a significant share of our work as a subcontractor and have no intention of stopping. What has changed is that we now work directly for end clients too: offices, retail, warehousing, schools, hospitality and managed blocks across London who want the same delivery discipline without a main contractor in the middle.
How We Work
If your existing system is serviceable, we will say so. We would rather maintain a working installation for years than condemn it to sell a replacement you did not need.
Systems designed against the standard that applies to your building and the requirement your insurer has actually written down, rather than a package chosen because it is easy to install.
Our own people on site, who understand containment, work cleanly in occupied buildings and can be left alone on a commercial premises without supervision.
Certification, commissioning records and as fitted information issued with the job. When a fire risk assessor or an insurer asks, you have something to hand them.
Credentials
Fire systems are designed and installed in accordance with BS 5839-1. Intruder systems follow EN 50131 and PD 6662 at the grade specified. CCTV installations are designed with your obligations as a data controller in mind, and access control is always interfaced correctly with the fire system so escape is never compromised.
Whether you are protecting your own premises or need a delivery partner for a package, the conversation starts the same way.
