The Requirement
Not A Domestic Alarm
A high value home is a different problem to a standard domestic install. The contents are worth protecting properly, the insurer usually has specific requirements in writing, and the building itself is often period, listed or recently and expensively finished. None of that suits a box off the shelf and a day's labour.
The people are the other difference. A private residence has cleaners, contractors, a nanny, a housekeeper, deliveries and guests moving through it, often when the family is away. The system has to handle that without the owner handing out the same code to everyone, and without turning their home into a building with a turnstile.
We survey, design and install systems that meet the insurance requirement, sit sympathetically in the property, and are simple enough that they actually get set every night. A system that is too complicated to use is a system that gets left off.

Insurance
Meeting The Policy
High value home policies are usually specific. They commonly call for an alarm at a stated grade, professional monitoring, sometimes police response, and occasionally physical requirements for safes or specific rooms. Cover can be affected if what is installed does not match what was agreed.
Send us the policy wording or the surveyor's report before anything is designed. It is far cheaper than discovering at claim stage that the system did not satisfy a condition.

Period and listed properties need cable routes through existing voids and devices chosen to suit the room. We agree finishes and positions before we start, not after.
